Dr Sivuyile Madikana is an Executive at Discovery Health, with a cross-functional leadership role in commercial healthcare strategy, innovation and digital transformation. As Head of Healthcare Delivery Transformation, he leads the development and execution of digital health transformation strategies and initiatives, as well as driving Value-Based Care models.
As Head of Hospital Risk Management, he provides strategic leadership for managing health risk associated with hospital networks, ensuring overall efficiency of care. He is an active member of the Health Risk Executive Committee and the Discovery Group Clinical Executive Committee.
Previously, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at First Care Solutions, spearheading strategy, new business development, product innovation, and virtual healthcare solutions. His earlier career highlights include working at the United Nations in their Policy and Governance Division at UN Women Headquarters in New York (USA), contributing to gender equity. Dr Sivu is passionate about leveraging innovation, technology and collaboration for a sustainable and equitable healthcare system.
