Neo Masike

Neo Masike is an Improvement Specialist with a wealth of experience in Health Systems. She has just over 15 years of experience in Quality Improvement across different districts and provinces in South Africa. Her work experience includes PEPFAR funded projects with Primary health care and hospitals. Her experience includes providing technical support for some of the key national improvement initiatives such as the South African TB QI project which was implemented in all nine provinces in 2019.

Neo is also a co-founding director of Improve Africa Systems, which aims to facilitate the narration of improvement stories in Africa. She holds a Master of Science in Quality Management from Robert Gordon University, Scotland and is a certified Improvement Advisor with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). Neo has presented improvement work at different national and international conferences including Hospital Association of South Africa (HASA), Public Health Association of South Africa (PHASA), SA Aids Conference, SA TB conference, IHI Africa forum and ISQUa.
